Jack Evans

Jack Evans, 84, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday September 24, 2019 at his residence. He was born May 9, 1935 in New London, Ohio to the late Homer Evans and Grace Shoemaker. Jack served his country in the United States Army for 21 years and afterwards worked in the Civil Service for 18 years. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Group; Chapter 101 at Ft. Campbell. Jack attended New Providence United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 55 years, Edith Lebowski Evans, sons; Andrew Evans of Clarksville, TN, Bruno Evans of Keller, Texas, Clifford Evans of Carmel, IN, one sister; Carol Spiker, ten grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by 5 of his siblings; Algy Evans, Tom Evans, Harry Evans, Jean Grilley, and Bette Graffice.
