Christopher Cody-Allen “Chris” Stocks age 30 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday September 10, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 15, 1988 in Madison, WI, the son of Jody Itzen Schlichtning and the late Donald Eugene Stocks. Christopher is a 2007 graduate of Clarksville High School, where he played football, and also a graduate of North Central Institute of Aviation Mechanics. Christopher was currently employed in food service with Ruby Tuesdays. He is survived by his mother Jody Schlichting and step father Patrick of Clarksville; his son Dylan Stocks of Michigan; step grandparents Brenda Johnson of Iowa and Darrell Schlichting of Missouri. He is also survived by aunts, Shawna “Nawna” Williams, Trisha Malmquist, Amanda Malmquist, Sarah Malmquist, and Sheena Keeton, as well as uncles Dennis Stocks, Lenny Stocks, John Stocks, and Philip Stocks. Also surviving are several cousins including Riah Roehl, Kyle Roehl, Lane Williams. Preceeding Christopher in death is his father Donald Eugene Stocks, maternal grandparents Donna Skilling and Brian Malmquist and paternal grandparents Otto Stocks and Shirley Stocks, as well as an uncle Lonnie Strait. A celebration of Christopher’s life will be held on Saturday September 21, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Clarksville Vineyard Church located at 2182 Old Russellville Pike, Clarksville, TN. Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center 335 Franklin Street Clarksville, TN 37040. Phone 931-919-2600.
