Wendell Scott Groves

Wendell Scott Groves, 52, of Southside, TN passed away at his residence on August 10, 2023. He was born February 20, 1971 in Clarksville, TN to the late Paul Groves and Linda Faye Herrell Groves. Wendell was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed tinkering with cars in his spare time and loved fast cars. Wendell was a sincere person who cherished his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Deidra Groves, Jasmine (Kevin) Biggers, Hailey Joe King, Charvel Groves, and Toni (Justin Stallings) Tigart; his brother, Paul (Pam) Groves, and several grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Wendell is preceded in death by his grandson, Zaylen Bamford.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Lee's Chapel Church of Christ in Southside, TN on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Minister Rodney Leetham will officiate the service.
