SFC (Ret.) Thomas Lee Gill

Thomas Lee Gill, 84, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Tennova Healthcare. He was born March 13, 1939 in Morehouse, MO to the late James Harrison Gill and Dolly Marie Childress Gill.

Thomas thoroughly enjoyed listening to country music. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and Air Force before retiring. He received many awards and medals during his military career including the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (4th Awd), 7 Service Stripes, Vietnam Veteran Medal w/ 3 Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 60 Device, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/Palm, 2 Overseas Service Bars, Driver Mechanic Badge w/Bar, and Presidential Unit Citation.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Elise Gill; children, Jeff Gill, Faron Gill, Timothy Gill, and Jennifer Georgic (Ronald Brooks); grandchildren, Brittney Georgic, Vincent (Bubba) Georgic, David Gill, Rebecca Gill, Private Stephen Gill, and Jacob Gill; and great-granddaughter, Bella Georgic. In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his son, Steve Gill; his granddaughter, Lacey Gill, and several siblings.

Funeral services will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Wednesday June, 28, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
