Thelma L. Jackson

Thelma L. Jackson age 76 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 20, 1942 in Harlan, KY the daughter of the late Louis Hendricks and Sarah Brown Harris. Thelma was employed for several years in social services for the State of Michigan until her retirement. She enjoyed reading and crocheting and was devoted to her family and especially her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Cheryl L. Patterson of Clarksville; sons Ruben Moore Jr. (Holly) of Waynesboro, PA; and Robert D. Moore (Michelle) of Charlotte, NC. Thelma is also survived by a brother Louis Hendricks, Jr. (Lynn) of Stone Mountain, GA as well as six grandchildren, Ruben Moore III, Christopher Patterson, Shannen Moore, Shaneece Moore, Cheyenne Perry, and Timothy Patterson and three great grandchildren, Carina Moore, Mya Moore, and Tamara Moore. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Jackson who passed away in 1999. Memorial services will be conducted on Friday December 14, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Gateway Funeral Home with Rev. Laurie Hynson of the Madison Street United Methodist Church officiating.
