Susan Ann Manchester

Susan Ann Manchester, age 63 of Clarksville, TN passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare. She was born on November 1, 1957 in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Robert Markel and Elizabeth Ann Hicks. Susan will be remembered by her family as a fun, loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. She especially loved her grandchildren. Susan was known as a very deeply and devoted Christian woman. She was the one person you could call when you needed reassurance and guidance and you always left her knowing that things would be okay and God was in it. Susan liked to leave you with the promising words of Philippians 3:14, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Left to cherish Susan's memory are her daughters, Cindy Stallings Ellis (Dale) of Clarksville, TN and Sherry Stallings Smith (Shad) of Big Rock, TN; sisters, Dawn Motes of Clarksville, TN and Donna Wade (Richard) of Somerset, KY; grandchildren, Brianna Smith, Sabrina Smith, Caitlyn Bennett (Thomas) and Haylee Danner. She is also survived by one great granddaughter, Nova Lynn Smith. Also surviving is the father of her children, Curtis Stallings. Along with her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Markel.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
