Robert Sherman Perkins Jr.

Robert Sherman Perkins Jr., age 50, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday September 23, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.  He was born December 21, 1970 in Delta, Utah, the son of the late Robert S. Perkins Sr. and Christa Stanfel  Delvendahl of Clarksville.  Robert is a graduate of Montgomery Central High School.  He has worked in carpentry and in heating and air conditioning.  Robert was loved by so many.  He had a true heart of gold and was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend.  He will be forever missed.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by sisters Carolyn Hummel of Clarksville, Michelle Waddell of Newport News, VA, Teri Perkins of Utah, and Wendy Bonnell of Utah.  He is also survived by nephews Michael Hux, Kristoffer Hummel (Stephanie), Jeremy Hummel (Essence), Sherman Hummel, and nieces Misty Hux and Kimber Ellison, as well as a host of great nieces and nephews.  Memorial services for Robert will be held on Saturday October 2, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Gateway Funeral Home. Pastor Billy Wall will officiate.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to services.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN 37040.  Phone 931-919-2600.  Online condolences may be made by going to www.gatewayfh.com.
