Rebecca Frances Wilkins

Rebecca Frances Wilkins, age 80, of Clarksville, TN, went home to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Rebecca was born on July 15, 1939 in Clarksville, TN to the late John Jenkins and Mary Frances Suggs. Rebecca is also preceded in her passing by her son, John Wood, brother, Tony Suggs, and her sister, Peggy Winfree. Rebecca was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Rebecca enjoyed and loved all of her family from her children to her great grandchildren dearly. Rebecca was proud to be a child of God and a servant of Our Lord. Rebecca loved sewing, doing embroidery, and beading crafts, among many other crafts. Rebecca also loved talking on the phone to her family and friends. Rebecca also enjoyed road trips with both of her daughters Connie and Michelle to go visit her family members. Rebecca loved all of her family, so very much!!! Left to cherish Rebecca's precious memory are her sons, Jerry Wood and wife Kerri of Reno, NV, Larry Wood and wife Kendal of Sparks, NV, Ronald Wood of Reno, NV, and John Wood who preceded her in passing; daughters, Connie Wood Hensley of Clarksville, TN and Michelle Porter and husband Paul also of Clarksville, TN; ten grandchildren, John Wood, Laura Wood, Logan Wood, all in Nevada, Kimberly Hensley Edwards, Jessica Hensley, Donald Hensley Jr., Tyler Wright, Shawn Wright, Trinity Porter, and William Porter all in Clarksville, TN; nine great grandchildren, Carter and Kayden Wood of Nevada, Wyatt Edwards, Madelyn Hensley, Jacob Hensley, Ryker Hensley, Braylen Hensley all of Clarksville, TN, Adaleigh Wright and Saylor Wright of New Mexico; her brothers, Roy Jenkins and wife Cherie and John Jenkins both of Texas, and her sister Norma Gary of Florida, and many nieces and nephews. There are plans to have a private family memorial service at a later date. Please continue to keep Rebecca's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers for the days ahead!!!
