Quinton Maurice Head, age 39, of Oak Grove, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN. He was born in Tallahassee, FL on June 13, 1984. He was raised by a loving family at an early age. He was the loving son of Freeman “Ed” Head and Shirley L. Head.
At a very early age, Quinton was an attendant of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with his brothers and parents. He loved spreading the good news of Jesus Christ along with biblical scripture. Quinton was an avid and talented artist, and he enjoyed putting a smile on people’s faces. He adopted the nickname “Smiley” because everyone could always count on him for a big smile.
Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Arnet (Keointe) Head of Clarksville; Richard (Flora) Pardue of Clarksville; James Earl Farley of Clarksville; George (Dora) Farley of Clarksville; and Chris (Tina) White of Virginia. He is also blessed with one niece, Deondra Pardue; seven nephews, Ricky (Terralisha) Hagewood, Richard Pardue, LaRance (Rakia) Pardue, James E. Farley Jr., George Farley Jr., Lorenze Long, and Montiese Long; as well as several friends and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his father, Freeman “Ed” Head who passed in 2015, his mother, Shirley Head who passed in 2021, and a loving brother, Jonathan Head who passed away in 2014.
Memorial services for Quinton “Smiley” Head will be conducted on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Clarksville, TN.
Immediately following the memorial service, a repass to cherish the love and memory of Quinton will take place at the residence of his closest brother, Arnet Head. Light refreshments will be served.
