Pauline Hogue Fontes

Pauline Hogue Fontes, age 92, passed way on April 16th, 2015 in Clarksville at Gateway Medical Center. She was born on August 8th, 1922 to the late Lonnie and Florence Byard Hogue. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Elizabeth Hogue and Sara Thomas Gafford.

A life long resident of Clarksville, she enjoyed photography, painting, sewing and traveling. She frequented the Ajax Turner Senior Citizens Center where she and her husband enjoyed dancing for twenty years.

She is survived by her husband, Ruben Fontes of Clarksville; one son, Ronald H. Fontes (Justine Korman) of Readfield, ME; two daughters, Robin Fontes May (Don) of Nobleboro, ME, Paula Fontes (Roger L. Paul) of Hampden, ME; one brother, Buford Henry Hogue; sister Barbara Jean Ippolito; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 21st, at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow services in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
