Nora Frances Tuczak

Nora Frances Tuczak passed away on August 11, 2021, in Clarksville, TN.  Ms. Nora was born on May 9, 1944 to Mary Lou Glasscock Black and Willie Eugene Black.  She grew up in Mohawk, TN, working hard to help raise her young cousins and helping her aunt and uncle on their farm.  She later met Walter Tuczak, the love of her life, in South Carolina.  They soon wed and enjoyed a life together with their four daughters.  Ms. Nora supported several families with her childcare business as Walter’s career in the army took them to Georgia, Panama, California, and Kansas.  They ultimately retired and settled down in Clarksville, TN.  She spent her life working hard to take care of what she had.  Many seasons of her life were spent caring for various members of her family.  She enjoyed crafting, yard work, and weekend yard sales.  Ms. Nora loved soup beans, cornbread and buttermilk, and she never turned down an ice cream cone.  After years of being ready to be with Jesus, her family is comforted in knowing her time of waiting is now over.  Ms. Nora has finally gone to reunite with her husband in Heaven, but she leaves behind several who will miss her dearly.  She is survived by her daughters, Mary Seaman, Frankie Realmontes, Michelle Ioane (Kirisimasi Ioane), and Kathy Singleton (Mark Singleton).  She will be missed by all of her nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN  37040.
