Mary Sue Shelton

Mary Sue Shelton, age 84 of Southside, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025. Mary loved sewing and quilting. She loved her family and beloved cats.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Roosevelt Shelton; daughter, Patricia Bryson; parents, Alley Weeks and Molly Robertson Weeks; siblings, Allen Weeks and Betty Tucker; beloved cat Fuzzy.

Mary is survived by her children, Thomas Shelton, Wanda Benge and husband Howard, Paula Benavides and husband Manny, David Shelton and Timothy Shelton; sister, Brenda Tucker of Fairfax, Virginia; grandchildren, Randy Bryson Jr., Chris Bryson, Leslie Six, Joseph Harvey, Jeffrey Shelton, Jennifer Shelton, Chevelle Johnson and Chris Clobes; Eighteen great grandchildren; beloved cat, Bootsie and many beloved extended family and friends.

Visitation begins at 1:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 26,2025 at Gateway Funeral and Cremation Services. Memorials may be made in Mary’s Memory to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
