Mary A. Roache, age 95, of Clarksville, TN departed from her earthly life on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 8, 1928 in Clarksville, TN to the late Rufus and Cora Majors.
Mary was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was educated and raised in the Montgomery County School System.
Mary is survived by her devoted daughter; Dorothy E. Roache; son, Jerry (Rovina) Roache and loving son of her heart, James Leak Jr; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband; Jerry R. Roache, daughter; Patsy Roache-Hill, son; Roger Neal Roache, sisters; Flossie Corley, Mildred Sallee, Dorothy Davenport, Annie Nevels, and Cleo Merriweather; and brothers; James Perkins, Burney Perkins, and Rufus Jewell Majors.
Mary Roache was a beautiful and sweet soul, and she will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Graveside services will follow after the visitation at Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, TN at 12:30 P.M.
