Mary Ruth Reynolds

Mary R. Reynolds, age 67 of Fairview, TN, formerly of Clarksville, passed away Monday June 8, 2015 at the Williamson Medical Center in Franklin. She was born December 8, 1947 in Campbell County, TN; the daughter of the late Anthel Rigby and Sarah Heatherly Rigby.

Mary was a homemaker who considered her family to be her greatest accomplishment. She was known as a babysitter for many children and she enjoyed taking care of her garden. She is a member of the New Hope Church of Christ in Fairview. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Deborah Ann Howard (Steven) of Clarksville; Lillie Elizabeth Luna of Fairview and Donna Kay McKinney (Casey) of Bon Aqua; brothers Charles Rigby, Paul Rigby, George Rigby, Mike Rigby and Ben Rigby all of Nashville; sisters Mildred Rigby of Cheatham County and Katherine Buchanan of Michigan, as well as five grandchildren and one great- grandchild. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Reynolds who passed away in 2001; Brothers Carter, Jim, Donald, and Roy Rigby; and Sister Patricia Takagi.

Services will be held from the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home on Thursday, June 11th at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mike Washington officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, June 10th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
