Marianne Varner Bennett

Marianne Schweiger Varner Bennett age 74 of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Sunday March 28, 2021 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.  She was born in Munich, Germany on April 21, 1946.  Marianne was a homemaker who was devoted to her family.  She is survived by her daughter Robin Howard (Travis) of Clarksville and two grandchildren Christopher Varner and Joshua Phillips.  Preceeding her in death is her husband Jack “Bill” Bennett and two grandchildren Ann Howard and Travis Howard Jr.  Funeral services for Marianne will be conducted on Thursday April 1, 2021 at 12 noon at Gateway Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of services.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN  37040.  Phone 931-919-2600.  Online condolences may be made by going to www.gatewayfh.com.
