Maria Arndt

Maria E. Arndt, age 79, of Palmyra, TN, passed away on Wednesday January 12, 2022 at Cloria Oaks Healthcare in Palmyra.  Maria has lived most of her life in the Chattanooga, TN area.  She is survived by her daughter Marlana Hedden and her son Brian Pendergraph.  Also surviving is her brother Marion W. “Buster” Evans Jr. and sisters Belinda Evans Duncan, Alice Lorraine Barbee, and Vickie Hale.  She is preceded in death by her father Marion W. Evans Sr. and her mother Kathryn Gilbert Evans, as well as a daughter Debbie Hedden and a son Forrest L. “Bucky” Pendergraph Jr.  There are no public funeral services planned at this time.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN 37040.  Phone 931-919-2600.  Online condolences may be made by going to www.gatewayfh.com.
