Lawrence D. Young

Lawrence D. Young age 73 of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville. He was born March 5, 1945 in Montgomery County, TN, the son of the late Rudolph Young and Mary Hogan Young. He is a graduate of Burt High School in Clarksville. Lawrence was employed for 36 ½ years with Trane Corporation until his retirement. He is survived by a sister Barbara Payne of Ellicott City, MD as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sisters and brother, Mary E. Dunbar, Jean Trice, Bertha M. Knight, Ann Louise Mack, Emma Head,and Walter Young. In keeping with Lawrence's wishes there will be no public funeral services. Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center 335 Franklin Street Clarksville, TN 37040.
