Judy Arlene Johnson Hill, age 75, of Clarksville, TN formerly of Warriormine, WV passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born on October 24, 1944 in Warriormine, WV to the late George Washington Johnson and Pearlie Pauline Barnett Johnson. She graduated from Big Creek High School of Warriormine, WV in 1962 and graduated with a post graduate in 1963. Judy worked as a Secretary at the Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. in 1963 and later as a Butcher at Jones N Spry in Warriormine, WV. Judy loved cardinals, listening to the birds, her dog Minnie, and her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Judy was feisty and full of life. She married the love of her life, James L. Hill Sr. on September 28, 1971 until he received his guardian angel wings on October 21, 2012.

Left to cherish her memories are her children: Amy and Eddie Tackett and James Jr. and Libbi Hill; siblings: Bill and Peggy Johnson of Dandridge, TN formerly of Warriormine, WV and Cathy and Eddie Muncy of Warriormine, WV, Georgia Johnson of FL; grandchildren: Zachary and Sabreeina Tackett of Nashville, TN, Joshua and Sabrina Tackett of Camp Pendleton, CA US Marine Corps, and Natalie Hill; great-grandchildren: Riley Rayne Tackett and Isabella Marie Tackett; a special nephew, Willard Lee Bartlett; nieces and nephews: Brian Johnson, Gloria and Paul Manzenberger of Bradenton, FL, Sharon and Mark Tarman of Palmetto, FL, Bev and Randy Phillips of Greenville, SC, Paula and David Hale of Warriormine, WV, Georgetta Muncy of Princeton, WV, Katrina Muncy of Warriormine, WV, James (Boomer) and Sarah Muncy of Warriormine, WV, John Blakely, Linda Blakely, Tresa Peak, and Sally Blakely; great nieces and nephews: Kayla Hale of Bluefield, WV, David Paul Hale of Warriormine, WV, Matt and Julie Tarman of MacDill Air Force Base in FL, Bret and Rose Tarman of Lackland Air Force Base in TX, Rob and Abbie Phillips of Greenville, SC, Adam and Gingerellen Phillips of Greenville, SC, Randy and Juanita Manzenberger, of Brandeton, FL, Savannah Reynolds, and Sammie Muncy; 9 great-great nieces and nephews; special thanks to Don and Denise Wood of Clarksville, TN, Raymond and Debbie Hagerman of Warriormine, WV, Burley and Jimmy Muncy, Effie Collins of Warriormine, WV, Benny and Holly Mullins, Billie and LeeAnn Mullins, Melvin and Sheila Muncy, Wilmer and Helen Muncy, Juanita Perkins, the Hagy family, the East family, Cathy and Eddie Muncy and family, and Willard Lee Bartlett. In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her loving husband, James L. Hill Sr.; siblings: R.B. Johnson of Palmetto, FL formerly of Warriormine, WV, Janet Johnson Bartlett of Beckley, WV formerly of Warriormine, WV, and Lillie Johnson formerly of Dandridge, TN; a nephew Mike Johnson.

A Celebration of Life is tentatively set for February 8, 2020 at Wilson Community Church in Warriormine, WV. Further details are to be announced at a later date.
