Judith Nichols Shoemaker

Judith Nichols Shoemaker age 75 a resident of Shreveport, LA, passed away on Thursday October 31, 2019 at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center in Clarksville, TN. Judith was born April 27, 1944 in St. Louis, MO but was raised and lived most of her life in Shreveport, LA. She recently came to Clarksville to be close to her children. Judith was a teacher at Huntington High School in Shreveport for several years and later became a social worker serving the mentally handicapped until her retirement. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed her friends. She devoted her life to helping others. She is survived by her sons, Dean Shoemaker (Karen) of Ashland City, TN; Brad Shoemaker of Clarksville, TN; and Lane Shoemaker of Clarksville, TN. She is also blessed with three grandchildren, Wesley, Joshua, and Bradley Shoemaker and two great grandchildren Gage and Micah Shoemaker. In keeping with Judith's wishes, there will be no public funeral services. Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center 335 Franklin Street Clarksville, TN 37040.
