Judith Hassan

Judith Hassan, age 71, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at her home.  She was born November 9, 1949 in Phillipsburg, NJ, the daughter of the late James Svenson and Alice Reidy.  Judith is survived by her children Michael Svenson, Timothy Palmer, Joseph Svenson, Dennis Hassan, Carolyn Sindi Weber, Barbara Kibbler, and Robin Mattingly-Coakley.  Also surviving is a sister Alice Behring (Al) and a brother Ray Svenson (Kathleen) as well as a brother in law Andy Bednarz.  Judith is blessed with grandchildren, Dennis, Kristen, Crystal, Willie, Christopher, Matthew, Stephen, Megan, Steven, Jessie, Scotty, Christian, Shaun, and Shannon, as well as many great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Judith is preceded in death by her husband Edward Hassan who passed in 2021, and her brother Jimmy Svenson and her sister Carol Bednarz.  There will be a memorial service for Judith on Monday October 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Gateway Funeral Home.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN 37040.   Phone 931-919-2600.  Online condolences may be made by going to www.gatewayfh.com.
