John A. "Tiger" Meriwether

John A. "Tiger" Meriwether age 58 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday May 11, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville. He was born June 22, 1959 in Memphis, TN the son of the late John Taylor Meriwether and Joy Ray Minish Meriwether. John worked during his life as an auto mechanic and was especially proud to be certified as a technician for the Volkswagen Beetle. He enjoyed the water and loved boating and fishing and was devoted to his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Brenda Thomas Meriwether of Clarksville; a son Wayne Hancock (Victoria) of Pembroke, KY; a brother Butch Meriwether of Wisconsin; sisters Rickie Gray of Arkansas and Kellie Abney of Russellville, KY. Tiger is also survived by 3 grandchildren Lily Hancock, Wyatt Hancock, and Wayne Hancock, Jr. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grand daughter, Allie Hancock.
