Jill Thayer Copeland

Jill Thayer Copeland, 70, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. She was born July 21, 1953 to the late Thomas E. Thayer and Mary Jane (Robert) Moore. 

Jill loved her family and friends, and most of all her grandchildren whom she enjoyed spending time with. She retired from Progressive Directions Inc. and spent her career providing care and support to others. She enjoyed reading with her favorite book being the “The English Patient”. 

She is survived by her husband, William Copeland; her children, Caleb (Brandy) Slaughter and Erica (Alan) Beecher; her grandchildren, Caden and Keegan Slaughter; her siblings, Jackie (Tommy) Slaton, Tommy (John) Thayer, John (Dawn) Thayer, Julie (Keith) Ingram; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, great nieces and other loving relatives and friends.
