Jason Paul Lorigan

Jason Lorigan, 58, of Clarksville, passed away in the early morning of September 9, 2025, due to complications from an obstructive lung disease — a bitter twist of fate for a man whose voice was his most enduring instrument.

Jason was many things: a husband, a brother, a father, and a man with a talent for conversation. He had a sharp mind, a quicker tongue, and a deeply held belief that every topic was worth debating. He was always fiercely and unapologetically himself.

He is survived by a wife who has a patience and strength that inspires many, by three children who carry with them his wit, stubborn streak, quirky sense of humor, and countless lessons — from the proper thermostat setting to most importantly, the power of speaking one’s truth, even when it ruffles feathers, and by his brothers and sister who helped shape and mold him into the man he was.

Jason was imperfect, as all of us are. He had his faults, and he owned them in his own way. Yet in those flaws lived a deeply human story — one of humor, conviction, and love expressed in ways not always gentle, but always real.

Now, in his absence, we find ourselves sifting through the echoes of his voice — the arguments, the laughter, the long-winded explanations, the stories of great embellishment — and discovering in them the quiet moments of connection and happy memories that linger.

Jason’s life was a chapter that left bold marks on the pages of those around him: unpredictable, intense, and entirely his own. We will remember him with laughter, love, and yes, occasionally a sigh.

A small memorial will be held for his family and friends at 1:00 PM until 4:00PM Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Services,1875 Highway 48, Clarksville, TN 37040.
