James S. Turner Sr.

James S. Turner Sr. age 73 of Bumpus Mills, TN went to his eternal home on October 10, 2018 at his home in Bumpus Mills. Jimmy was retired from the zinc plant . He was an elder and member of the Bumpus Mills Church of Christ. Surviving is his loving wife of 54 years, Deanna Turner of Bumpus Mills; three sons, Jamie (Kim) Turner of Bumpus Mills, TN; Jeffrey (Angela) Turner of Bumpus Mills, TN; and Jason (Gail) Turner of Bumpus Mills, TN. Grandchildren are Clara Emmalee, Evelyn Turner, Megan Turner, Jeremiah Turner, Jordan Turner, Cage Michael Turner, Craig Walters, and Garrett Walters. One sister Clara Mae McKinney; two brothers, Cleveland (Joyce) Turner, and Anthony (Barbara) Turner; and a sister in law Carolyn Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Evelyn Turner and one brother William BJ Turner. Memorial services will be conducted on Sunday October 21, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at the Bumpus Mills Church of Christ with Brother Phil Dunn officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday from 12:30 P.M. until the time of services.
