James Edward Shellington

James Edward Shellington, age 65 of Clarksville, TN, passed away at his residence on July 9, 2014. Mr. Shellington was born on November 19, 1948 in Baltimore, MD to George Worsley and the late Phyllis Wheatley Worsley. In addition to his mother, Mr. Shellington was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Cunningham; and three brothers, Phillip, Michael, and David Shellington.

Mr. Shellington was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed as a range controller in Fort Campbell, KY.

He is survived by his wife, Chin Shellington of Clarksville; father George Worsley of Washington D.C.; daughter Janice Jenkins (James) of Clarksville; brother Samuel Shellington, and sister Ella Bessick both of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Braedyn and Chanel Jenkins.

Visitation for Mr. Shellington will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Thursday, July 17th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be on Friday, July 18th at Gateway Funeral Home Chapel at 12:30 p.m. with Reverend Darron Lakes officiating. Interment following at KY Veterans' Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
