James Austin Sanders

James Austin Sanders, age 81, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Wednesday August 21, 2019 at the Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born April 19, 1938 to the late Fred Sanders and Ethel Smith Kennedy. James worked for several years as a delivery driver for Clarksville and Oak Grove Auto Parts stores. He was a devoted member of Mt. Sinai Church in Erin, TN and loved attending when he was able to. James had a love for music and enjoyed playing guitar and singing.

Left to cherish his memory is a number of nieces and nephews; and a brother in Christ, Jim Hefley (Carolyn) who visited him many times while in the nursing home and hospital. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by all of his siblings.

There will be no public funeral services. The family of James Sanders would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and AseraCare Hospice for going above and beyond to care for him. A few days before his passing, James stated, "I want everyone to be prepared to come be with me in Heaven".
