James "Jimmy" Loverchio age 87 of Big Rock, passed away on Friday April 6, 2018 at his residence. He was born in New Jersey on June 18, 1930 the son of the late Carl Loverchio and Josephine Giovinazzo Loverchio. James served his country in the U.S. Army and following his time in the military, he worked in construction projects at Ft. Campbell during his working years. He was a woodworker and carpenter and built the houses he lived in. He is survived by his son Carmine James Loverchio and his fianc Pam Summers of Hendersonville. He is also survived by brothers Carlo of New Jersey and Tony of Florida. James is also survived by two grandchildren Alec James Loverchio and Madison Lack. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by the love of his life Sylvia Mia Gibbs Loverchio as well as his siblings Concetta, Rocco, Dominic, Laura, and Rose. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday April 8, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 2930 Highway 41 A South, Clarksville, TN. Visitation will be in the chapel for the hour prior to services. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
