James Joseph Cordle

James Joseph Cordle, age 71, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Monday August 30, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.  He was born October 31, 1949 in Richland, VA, the son of the late Frank Cordle and Margie Katherine Harliss Cordle.  James was devoted to his wife and family and he loved his dogs.  He enjoyed watching TV, especially sports and Little League Baseball. James worked during his career in restaurant management, most recently he was the manager of the Ponderosa Steakhouse on Wilma Rudolph Blvd for 17 years.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife Regina Carol Simpson Cordle of Clarksville; his sons Aaron Cordle (Tammy) of Clarksville; Mike Cordle of Mt. Juliet, TN; Spenser Cordle (Olivia) of Clarksville; and his daughter Meredith Cordle of Knoxville.  He is also blessed with six grandchildren Alexis Cordle, Landon Cordle, Reagan Cordle, Daniel Cordle, Matthew LeGrant, and Christopher LeGrant.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sons Daniel Cordle and Frankie Cordle.  There are no public funeral services scheduled at this time.
