Jacob Matthew Reeves

Jacob Matthew Reeves, age 46, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born on June 30, 1975 in Anderson, IN to James Reeves Sr., and Suella Beason. Jacob enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and gardening. He also was a video gamer. Jacob raised chickens as well. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, son, uncle and friend.

Left to cherish Jacob’s memory is his wife of 12 years, Ruth Reeves of Adams, TN; son, James Romeo Reeves of Adams, TN; daughters, Allyza Basa of Adams, TN, Ayieza Basa of Adams, TN and Alexandria Vericella; brothers, James Reeves Jr. (Shawna Lee) of Fort Pierce, FL and John Reeves of Port St. Lucy, FL; sister, Kristin Wells of Anderson, IN. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Jacob is preceded in death by his father, James Reeves Sr.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at Gateway Funeral Home on Sunday, December 19, 2021 beginning at 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
