Jack Edward Bowers

Jack Edward Bowers age 76 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday July 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 25, 1941 in Knoxville, TN, the son of the late Frank Bowers and Margie Dukes Bowers. Jack served his country in the U.S. Army for 20 years. He served in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star and the Silver Star as well as other awards. Following his service in the military he worked in civil service in the weapons shop at Ft. Campbell until his retirement. He is a member of the American Legion. He is preceded in death by his wife Esther Beeler Bowers who passed away in 2012. He is survived by his daughter Taresa Cooper (Carl) of Clarksville and a grandson Christopher Leon Smith (Tiffany) of Amarillo, TX. Funeral services with military honors will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Friday July 20, 2018. Services will be held at the gravesite at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
