Florence Adams Islas, age 81, of Clarksville, departed this life Friday, February 6, 2015 at General Care.
She was born February 24, 1933 in Sumner County, TN., the daughter of the late Alvie Adams and Ruby Jones Adams. She was also preceded in death by her husband; Joe Islas, one daughter; Sara Ewing, two brothers; Bobby Adams and Bubba Adams, four sisters; Ruby Adams, Martha Tidwell, Sara Eden and Edith Walker.
Mrs. Islas is survived by one son; Charles Ewing, one brother; William Adams, three sisters; Tina Roman, Tiny Mae Thomas, and Jean Hughes, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 :00 pm on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from the Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm Sunday until the hour of the service with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
