Dorothy Paulene Ligon

Mrs. Dorothy (Watkins) Ligon, age 82 of Clarksville, TN passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2021. Ms. Ligon was born in Dickson County, TN on March 2, 1939, the daughter to the late William and Paulene Benton Watkins.  Dorothy enjoyed westerns, fishing and animals.

Left to cherish Dorothy’s memory are her sons, Eddie Shelby and Randy Shelby; siblings, Peggy Cavoores, James David, and Roger Watkins. She is also survived by a slew of grandchildren; 3 great grand children and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her companion, Doris Ligon; and 2 daughters, Ora Sullivan and Anita Minnick.

A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville, TN on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Don Helton officiating.
