Doris Elaine Roberts Wilbur

 Doris Elaine Roberts Wilbur, age 76, of Clarksville, TN and Guthrie, KY, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, of covid. Born Nov. 28, 1945, in Henderson County, TN., she was third of four daughters born to late parents Vivian Roberts Rorie and William Duncan Roberts. Doris was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wilbur, and daughter Donna Annette Joiner. She is survived by daughter Denise Joiner of Clarksville,TN, and Guthrie, KY., and by sisters Linda Nichols, Clarksville; Judy Chaney, Louisville, KY; and Carolyn Wentz, Scottsboro, AL., as well as several cousins, nephews and nieces. Doris was a member of the Baptist Church. She worked many years as a mortgage loan processor and after retiring enjoyed numerous crafts and hobbies such as rock painting, cypress knee sculptures, and working with her beautiful orchids. She was also an avid Ancestry researcher. And she loved reading her Bible. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Doris loved animals, and if so desired, the family requests contributions in her memory to Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery Co., 940 Tennessee Ave.

A Memorial Service for Doris Elaine Roberts Wilbur will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens on Friday, April 22, 2022 at one o'clock in the afternoon.
