Donnie Green

Donnie Green age 77 of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday October 24, 2020 at his residence. He was born December 23, 1942 in LaFollette, TN, the son of the late Dewey A. Green and Aloda Church Green. Donnie has worked with the GAF Corp. in Joliet, IL for 21 years, later working with Local # 75 for several years in the construction trade in Joliet, IL, and also with Nashville Wire where he retired after working for several years. He was dedicated and committed to his family and his wife of 57 years, Norma Faye Williams Green of Clarksville. He is survived by a brother Ronnie Green of LaFollette, TN as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step mother Opal Green and brothers Dewey A. Green Jr., Harold O. Green, and James Green. He is also preceded by sisters Catherine Phillips and Stacy Wells and half brothers Lonnie Green, Larry Green, and Charles Green. In keeping with Donnie's wishes, there will be no public funeral services. Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center 335 Franklin Street Clarksville, TN 37040.
