Dewey Lee Huff Sr

Dewey Lee Huff Sr., age 81, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Tennova Healthcare. He was born on July 8, 1941, in Clarksville, TN to the late Leslie Dillon Huff and Helen Jones Davidson. His family remembers him as the greatest man ever.
When Dewey was born he was so sickly that his grandmother thought he was not going to make it. She made him a death dress that he often told people about. Instead, he lived a long and fulfilled life. He has his children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren to carry on for him. He was one of the best Air Compressor mechanics of all time. He worked Maintenance on apartments. He never met a stranger and would stop everyone who would listen to tell them a joke that he had heard. He loved to grow vegetables and had a passion for tractors. He was a very devoted son until Granny left this earth she knew he would be there. His soulmate (Hoochie) was with him through everything.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Noraida Huff; his children, Billy Huff, Linda (Terry) Chester, Donald (Gina) Huff, Dewey (Melissa) Huff Jr., and Connie Roop; his brothers, Robert Huff, Joe Huff, Frank Davidson, Bobby Ray Davidson, and Gene Huff, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 12:00 P.M. until the time of service.
