Dante Kelvin Lyndon Evans Samuel

Dante Kelvin Lyndon Evans Samuel, age 22, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday September 9, 2021.  He was born February 4, 1999 in St. Georges, Grenada.  Dante is a graduate of Kenwood High School in Clarksville.  He played football while in high school.  While living in Grenada he was an amateur boxer.  He was known as a loving and kind person who was a dreamer.  He always had a smile on his face.  He is survived by his father and step mother, Kelvin Lyndon Samuel (Barbara) in Clarksville; his mother Phelicia Evans in St. Georges, Grenada;  his grandmother Florence Samuel in New York; a brother Sahid Samuel in New York; sisters Adria George in Clarksville and Tiffany Evans in England.  He is also survived by his companion Richaunna Harris.  Also surviving are aunts Glenda Samuel Church in Grenada; Jerlyn Gajadhar in Trinidad; Olivia Phillips- Williams in Trinidad; and Leandra Hilton in Dominica.  Also surviving are uncles Ron Samuel in Maryland; Kevin Samuel in Grenada; Brandon Gajadhar in Trinidad; Burton Evans in Trinidad; Sherman Byam-Mitchell in Grenada; Dwayne Quashie in England; Goldwin Phillips in Dominica; and Terrance Evans in Florida.  He is also survived by many cousins and friends.  Funeral services for Dante will be conducted on Saturday September 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Gateway Funeral Home with Minister Daniel Patterson officiating.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to services.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN  37040.  Phone 931-919-2600.  Online condolences may be made by going to www.gatewayfh.com.
