Daniel Figueroa Rodriguez

Daniel Figueroa Rodriguez, age 80, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Tennova Healthcare. He was born on January 29, 1942, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to the late Ramon Figueroa and Petra Rodriguez Pizarro.

Daniel worked for the Health Department as an Epidemiologist. Aside from work, Daniel was a big sports fan, especially the New York Yankees baseball team. He loved traveling and visiting Cuba. He also enjoyed his time in Puerto Rico and playing dominoes with family and friends while relaxing on the beach. Daniel was a devout Christian and Pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Puerto Rico.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Carmen Andino Morales; two daughters, Mildred Figueroa (Donald Carranza) and Noemí Figueroa; his sister, Noemi Figueroa; grandchildren, Nayomee L. Figueroa, Norimar Figueroa, Nayliz M. Figueroa, Eduardo Daniel Figueroa, and Noemi Y. Figueroa; and one great-granddaughter, Hazel Figueroa. In addition to his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by his brother, Ramon Figueroa. 

A memorial service will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. with visitation for 30 minutes prior.
