Dale Wooten

Dale Wooten age 66 of Clarksville, passed away at his residence on Saturday December 5, 2020. He was born August 12, 1954 in Henderson, KY, the son of the late Minor Vernon Wooten and Annette Busby Wooten. Dale worked as a truck driver and had a great talent in small engine repair. He enjoyed finding mowers that had been discarded and making them run again. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Covell (Eric) of Lebanon, TN; a son Derrick Evans of Evansville, IN; brothers Donnie Wooten (Joni) of Hanover, IN; and David Wooten of Clarksville; sisters Denise Schwab (Jimmy) of Fayetteville, GA; and Diane McCormick of Henderson, KY. He is also survived by a sister in law Sue Wooten and four grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by a son Brian Evans, a brother Tommy Wooten and brother-in-law, Larry McCormick. Memorial services will be conducted on Monday December 14, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Gateway Funeral Home with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
