Cynthia Lynn Peacher

Cynthia Lynn Peacher, age 58 passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Signature Healthcare in Clarksville, TN. She was born August 20, 1960 in Todd County, KY to the late Joe Tires and Mary Ann Peacher Garrett. Cynthia accepted Christ at an early age while attending Guildfield Baptist Church. She attended and graduated from Clarksville High School in 1978. Succeeding graduation, Cynthia attended Miller Motte Technical School in Clarksville, TN and received her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate. Cynthia went on to utilize her CNA certification at Spring Meadows Nursing Home and JC Group Home for the Disabled. Apart from working in Healthcare, Cynthia retired from Wal-Mart after being employed there for ten years. Family and friends of Cynthia emphasize that she never met a stranger, and was very loved and adored by many. She loved to cook and bake for others.

Cynthia is survived by two daughters, Shawanda Peacher of Clarksville and LaTanya Peacher of Clarksville; three brothers, Mose D. Garrett (Cynthia) of Clarksville, Jeffrey G. Garrett of Evansville, IN, and Stanley Peacher (Christy) of Sparta, TN; two sisters, Regenia Peacher (Albert) of Clarksville, TN and Anita Killebrew of Clarksville, TN, step-sister, LaShonda Clemons (Rev. Quinn) of South Guthrie, KY; six grandchildren, LaShawnda Peacher, Allen Wesley, Donterius Peacher, Cervontes Willis, Aun'Neika Peacher, A'Zai Peacher and five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two very dear friends, Linda Lucas and Bettye Braswell, as well as a host of family and several friends. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Darrell Garrett, and one grandchild, Antrevieon Payne.

Visitation services for Cynthia will be held on Friday July 19, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Gateway Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday July 20, 2019, beginning at 11 A.M. at the Guildfield Baptist Church, with visitation one hour prior to service.
