Craig Evans

Craig Evans, age 61, of Clarksville, TN, formerly of Riverside, CA, passed away on Saturday November 13, 2021 at his residence.  He was born January 8, 1960 in Riverside, CA, the son of the late Thomas Coy Evans and Mae Eloise Wolfenbarger Evans.  Craig had worked during his career in the field of road construction.  He worked in California at every level of road construction.  Craig enjoyed his work and in his free time he was an avid golfer and poker player.  He is survived by his wife Julia E. Steneck Evans of Clarksville; sons Brandon Scott Evans (Dani) of Pendleton, IN; Matthew Anthony Webster of Riverside, CA; and Cory Shaw Webster (Jennifer) of Riverside, CA; daughters Keele Dawn Adams (Andrew) of North Sioux City, SD; Ashley Nicole Davis (Donell) of Temescal Valley, CA; and Amanda Katherine Chou (Ben) of Irvine, CA.  Also surviving is a sister Judith Anne Evans of Greenwood, MO.  Craig is blessed with eight grandchildren, Dehvon Evans, Elle Evans, Eli Evans, Scarlett Webster, Advent Webster, Bradley Adams, Taylor Adams, and Landen Adams.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter Kristy Evans and sister, Tommie Louise Griffiths.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday November 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, TN.  Pastor Larry Williams will officiate.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN  37040.  Phone 931-919-2600.  Online condolences may be made by going to www.gatewayfh.com.
