Cindy Ray

Cynthia Marie “Cindy” Ray age 62 of Adams, TN, passed away at her residence on Monday March 29, 2021.  She was born January 21, 1959 in Clarksville, the daughter of the late Paul Roger Stokes and Juanita Meacham Stokes.  Cindy was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family, especially her grandchildren.  In her earlier years, she had worked at Acme Boot.  She is a member of Hilldale United Methodist Church.  She loved her flowers and had volunteered at Loaves and Fishes.  Left to cherish her memory is her husband Steve Ray of Adams; her sons Daniel Peters (Jessica) of Clarksville; and Paul Peters of Clarksville.  Also surviving are sisters Debbie Rittenberry (Danny) of Clarksville, and Brenda Harper (Bob) of Clarksville and her brother Mike Stokes (Ellie) of Clarksville.  She is blessed with six grandchildren.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Saturday April 3, 2021 at 11:00 A.M at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Stephen Sauls officiating.  Visitation will be on Friday April 2, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Gateway Funeral Home.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN  37040.  Phone 931-919-2600.  Online condolences may be made by going to www.gatewayfh.com.
