Charles Edward Wood
Charles Edward Wood, age 60, of Clarksville passed away on Friday, July 17th, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Plant City, FL on January 22nd, 1955 to the late Burrow And Tinie Duykers Wood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gill Wood, and a sister, Ann Blackburn.
Charles grew up in Clarksville and is a 1973 graduate of Clarksville High School. He later attended Austin Peay State University and became a licensed practical nurse. He loved horses and raised them for many years until his health no longer permitted it. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. His church home was the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
He is survived by his partner, Anthony Luton of Clarksville; three brothers, Glenn Wood of Cunningham, TN, Lee Wood of Nashville, TN, and Bryan Wood of Clarksville; two sisters, Mary Malone (Hank) of Palmyra, TN and Linda McCann of Clarksville.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
