SFC (Ret.) Charles Will Soles

Charles Will Soles, age 84, of Clarksville, TN passed away at his home on March 17, 2022. He was born on December 30, 1937, in Anniston, AL to the late Willie and Marie Williams Soles. Charles retired from the United States Army after proudly serving his country.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Sherri Soles and Kason Hairston; brother, Edward Soles; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his previous wife, Barbara Soles.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janie Soles; daughter, Sharon Shephard; brothers, Alford Williams and Maurice Soles.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Gateway Funeral Home. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, March 28, 2022.
