Charles Life's Reflections

For each life has a purpose on January 13, 2022, at the age 77 years old of God whispered to Charles “Bubba” Rutley Hoosier well done son you’ve fulfilled your earthly purpose. Charles found comfort, peace and healing with his heavenly father and left this life behind.Charles began his earthly journey on July 1,1944 in Clarksville,Tennessee, as a loving son to Billy Hoosier and Ruby Williams.

Charles accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and was a devoted member at Guildfield Missionary Baptist Church until his health began to fail. He received his education in the Montgomery County School System. He retired from the largest supplier of railroad crossties known as Koppers where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and Tie Inspector.

Charles found happiness being a loving and dedicated husband of 59 years as he joined Martha “Baby” D Hooiser in marriage on November 17,1962. He cherished his daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. He loved to hear those who loved him call out his many nicknames: “Fat Daddy”,“Uncle Bubba”, “Baby”,“Hoosie” and “Hoosier”. He made friends wherever we went as he loved to travel to spend time with family, play bingo and be on the go. He loved gathering with his retired friends at the local store to joke, laugh and play the lottery.
