Beverly Joyce Brown

Beverly Joyce Brown, age 79 passed away on Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 in Nashville, TN. She was born in Tuscaloosa, AL on November 22nd, 1937 to the late Eugene and Margaret Shannon Culpepper.

She was employed for over thirty years at the Harriet Cohn Mental Health Center/Centerstone as an administrative assistant, and was an avid reader. She resided at Fieldstone for several years before relocating to Nashville.

She is survived by one son, Michael Brown (Sherri) of Murfreesboro, TN, and daughter Pamela Brown, of Clarksville; brother Mickey Culpepper of Florence, AL and two grandchildren, Bradley and Benjamin Brown.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with Oscar Dixon officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Gateway Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Loaves and Fishes or Friends of the Library.
