Betty Buck Ford

Betty Buck Ford, age 80, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Sunday September 19, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.  She was born August 17, 1941 in Clarksville, the daughter of the late William Edward Buck and Mary Elizabeth Benton Buck.  Betty is a graduate of Clarksville High School.  She has worked over the years as a Nursing Assistant in area nursing homes, home health agencies and the hospital.  She is a member of First Baptist Church-Kirkwood Campus.  She was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking and baking for others.  She also enjoyed crocheting.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Archie Neal Ford, who passed on August 5, 2018, as well as her brothers Edward Dee Buck and Glenn Franklin Buck.  Left to cherish her memory are daughters Martha P’Pool (Denzil) of Clarksville and Mary Hightower (Bobby Hansen) of Russellville, KY.  Betty is also blessed with three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.  Funeral services for Betty will be conducted on Thursday September 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Gateway Funeral Home with Pastor Mitchell Allen officiating.
