Barbara Jean Voss

Barbara Jean Voss, age 74, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Tuesday August 31, 2021 at her residence.  She was born April 27, 1947 in Vienna, IL, the daughter of the late Van Dunn and Grace Vaughn Dunn.  Barb loved to crochet and made many afghans for others including all of the grandchildren.  She enjoyed sewing.  She loved her rescue dog Oreo but most importantly she was devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She is a member of Clay Hill Baptist Church in Winfield, TN. For several years until her retirement, Barb worked as a corrections officer at the Riverbend Maximum Security Facility.  Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Lore Harmon of Clarksville; Bobbie Lintzenich of Collinsville, IL; Jonnie DeRossett (Kelly) of Imperial, MO; and Melannie Garland (James DallaRiva) of Edwardsville, IL.  She is also survived by sisters Linda Seep (Tom) of Trevor WI; and Tammy Lawson (Gary) of Oneida, TN.  Barb is blessed with twelve grandchildren Randi Durham (Adam); Justin Harmon; Dallas Harmon; Jacob Lintzenich (Lauren); Samantha Barker (Nick); Kyle Stover; Katlyn Stover; Megan Stover; Adam Stover; Payton Garland; Lilian Garland; and Isabelle DallaRiva; as well as three great grandchildren Ayden Durham; Aria Durham; and Gage Traiteur.  There will be a private family celebration of Barb’s life held on Sunday September 5th.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN  37040.  Phone 931-919-2600.  Online condolences may be made by going to www.gatewayfh.com.
