Barbara Louise Quinton

Barbara Louise Quinton, age 80 of Hopkinsville, KY passed away peacefully at her residence Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Barbara was born on September 26, 1941 in Aurora, IL to the late Edward Jess Beck and Irene Kathryn Maranda. Barbara was an avid reader. In her younger years, she enjoyed horseback riding. Barbara was a good mother. She loved her family. She enjoyed laughing. Barbara spent her years being a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, leaving her family with many wonderful memories.

Left to cherish Barbara’s memory is her children, Timothy Loughry (Ellen) of Hopkinsville, KY, Bobby Quinton (Marie) of Hopkinsville, KY, Kenny Loughry of Elizabethtown, KY, Kathryn Rice (Jeff) of Oak Grove, KY, and Deborah Smith (Gerald) of Elizabethtown, KY; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Quinton, brother, Raymond Beck, and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. A visitation will be held one hour prior at 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service. Officiating will be Pastor Tom Kelly.
