Barbara Ann Perry

Barbara Ann Nicholson Perry, beloved Wife, Moma, and Moma B, age 81, of Clarksville, TN passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born June 25, 1941 in Clarksville, TN to the late Robert and Darlene (Watts) Nicholson. She was a 1959 graduate of Clarksville High School.

Barbara's greatest accomplishment and joy in life was being a dedicated wife and loving mother. She had the sweetest spirit, caring heart, and love for the Lord. Her eyes and smile would light up any room and filled our hearts with happiness. She was a Baptist and a long-time member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She had a passion for sewing for others for many years, as well as quilting and crocheting. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed her flea market weekends with her husband and flea market family. She loved playing the piano and organ and enjoyed playing hymns and always loved when everyone gathered around to sing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Darlene Nicholson; Grandson, Jeremiah Thain Downey; Granddaughter, Holly Finley Clark, and sister-in-law, Elaine Pressler Nicholson.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 63 years, Willard Ray Perry; daughters, Brigitte (Jackie) Finley, Beverly (Randy) Downey, Betsy (Johnny) Myers, Bettina (Brian) Perkins; Brother, Ronnie Nicholson; Sister-in-law, Reba Perry Pecori; Grandchildren, Brandon (Lauren) Perry, Haley (Chris) Huff, Leslie (James) Norfleet, Dylan (Cassie) Perkins, Dalton (Maranda) Perkins; Great Grandchildren, Abby Clark, Gage Clark, Jacob Perry, Kenzie Sigler, Devan Ray Perry, Addilyn Huff, Brantley Huff, Averee Kate Norfleet, James Howard Norfleet, Allie Rae Norfleet, Caden Perkins, and Carter Perkins, and many more beloved family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation for one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The family would like to extend a special THANK YOU to Tennova Hospice and her special caregivers, Amber, Macy, and Anna for all of their care, love, and compassion for her and our family.
