Barbara Ann DeMonaco (Monroe)
September 29 th 1953 – January 18 th 2026

Barbara DeMonaco of Clarksville, TN passed away on January 18, 2026 at Alive Hospice in Nashville TN, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Bronx NYC on September 29, 1953 to parents, Charles and Patricia Monroe.

She had many roles in life and one she admired a lot was being a caregiver. She was a compassionate and outgoing person. She loved taking care of people. Barbara's favorite hobbies were but not limited to, going shopping with her grandkids and most of all taking her daughter out on adventures. Barbara also enjoyed painting in her free time. Her favorite animal was a frog because she would always tell you that every first letter meant Fully Rely On God, which her religion meant a lot to her. So, she carried that with her everywhere she went. Barbara could brighten up a room with her laughter and her smiles. She will always be remembered as her memories live through us each and every day.

Barbara is survived by her sister Sue Koche. Her son; Christopher Farley, her grandkids, Shawn Farley, Zachary Ogden, Brianna McGinnis, Madison McGinnis, Ashley McGinnis, as well as Patricia Farley and Shannon Farley who gave her the title of great grandma; great grandchildren; Charlotte Vazquez, Kinzly Cummisford, Roman Vazquez and Mckenna Strybel, Everly Pompei. Son-In-Law; Jimmy McGinnis. Also, Onassis Vazquez.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia Marlene Davis (Farley). Her parents, Charles Edward Monroe Jr and Patricia Joyce Monroe. Her brother; Charles E. Monroe, III.
